SecurifyA Evaluation Methodology

SecurifyA was created to eliminate marketing ambiguity from enterprise cybersecurity procurement. We reject synthetic ratings, undisclosed commercial relationships, and universal composite scores.

1. Documented Provenance & Primary Source Evidence

Every factual assertion regarding sensor architecture, telemetry retention, supported operating system distributions, or offline enforcement must cite primary vendor documentation, engineering manuals, public release notes, or certified regulatory attestations (e.g. FedRAMP, SOC 2, HIPAA).

If a vendor claims a capability on a marketing webinar or promotional one-pager that is not reflected in technical product documentation, SecurifyA marks that capability as Vendor Claimed (Unverified) or Not documented in our sources.

2. Category-Specific Evaluations (No Universal Score)

Evaluating a Next-Generation Firewall using the same metric rubric as an Identity Provider or Managed Detection service produces meaningless scores. Cybersecurity technologies serve distinct operational purposes.

SecurifyA develops separate evaluation frameworks for each category taxonomy. Within each category, evaluations are bound to a clearly defined buyer use case (such as “Enterprise Fleet Defense across Hybrid Environments”) rather than an abstract ideal.

3. Published Criterion Weightings

When SecurifyA ranks or orders solutions within a category evaluation, we publish the exact percentage weights applied to each criterion. For example, in our Enterprise EDR evaluation:

  • Telemetry Fidelity & Threat Hunting Query Speed (25%): Evaluates raw event retention, query syntax flexibility, and multi-tenant performance.
  • Autonomous Offline Protection & Prevention (20%): Assesses local agent machine learning and heuristic enforcement when network connectivity is severed.
  • Cross-Platform Agent Parity (20%): Examines feature consistency across Windows, macOS, and enterprise Linux distributions.
  • Active Remediation & Containment (20%): Evaluates remote host isolation, surgical process killing, and snapshot rollback capabilities.
  • Administrative Governance & Tamper Resistance (15%): Evaluates uninstall protection, multi-tenant RBAC, and policy hierarchy.

4. Honest Separation of Documented Claims from Lab Testing

SecurifyA evaluations analyze documented architecture and verifiable public specifications. We distinguish architectural analysis from hands-on malware detonation laboratory shootouts. We never claim that SecurifyA independently tested a product unless actual recorded testing protocols and laboratory logs exist.

5. Zero Commercial Influence on Organic Rankings

Vendors cannot purchase ranking placement, pay for higher evaluation positioning, or license commercial badges that distort organic results. Sponsored placements (if accepted in designated promotional slots) are strictly labeled with conspicuous disclosure tags and are mathematically barred from entering ranking calculations.

6. Continuous Source Auditing & Correction Mechanism

Enterprise software continuously evolves. SecurifyA records the date every source was checked and offers a transparent Suggest a Correction workflow on every profile. Submissions accompanied by verifiable official documentation links are evaluated by our editorial board within 5 business days.
